Benefits Enhanced with Increased Support from 480,000 KRW to 850,000 KRW
Recruitment Open Until the 14th... 2,000 KRW Discount for Payments Over 10,000 KRW
Gyeonggi Paju City (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 7th that it will expand the number of Good Price Businesses from 62 to 81 to stabilize local prices. The city increased the support fund from 480,000 KRW to 850,000 KRW to promote participation and utilization of Good Price Businesses.
Good Price Businesses are establishments that offer services at prices lower than the surrounding market rates. The Ministry of the Interior and Safety designates these businesses based on comprehensive criteria including price, hygiene, and cleanliness. Once designated as a Good Price Business, establishments receive benefits such as a certification plaque, supply support, and additional points when applying for Paju City’s Small Business Management Environment Improvement Project.
Currently, 62 Good Price Businesses have been designated within Paju City. To revitalize these businesses this year, the city plans to increase support funds to enhance benefits for business operators. For this purpose, the city secured a budget of approximately 68 million KRW, an increase of 40 million KRW from last year, and plans to provide more practical benefits by preparing support supplies tailored to the characteristics of each industry based on demand surveys.
Consumers will also receive card benefits. When consumers make card payments of 10,000 KRW or more at Good Price Businesses, they can receive a refund (cashback) benefit of 2,000 KRW. Different card companies participate each month, and the status of affiliated cards can be checked on the Good Price Business website.
Additionally, the city has designated the fourth Friday of every month as ‘Good Price Business Usage Day’ to actively promote and encourage the use of Good Price Businesses. The status of Good Price Businesses can be checked on the Good Price Business website, Paju City Hall website, Naver Map, KakaoMap, and T Map.
The recruitment targets for Good Price Businesses include industries closely related to residents’ daily lives such as dining, beauty salons, and laundry services. Businesses wishing to apply should prepare an application form, business registration certificate, and visit the Paju City Hall Job Economy Division in person or apply via email by the 14th.
Mayor Kim Kyung-il of Paju City said, “We will do our best to discover more Good Price Businesses and expand promotion and support to stabilize local prices and revitalize the local economy in ways that citizens can feel.”
