As the financial burden on small business owners due to courier fees increases, the government has prepared a support project for delivery and courier fees targeting small business owners with annual sales under 104 million KRW, providing up to 300,000 KRW in support with a budget of 203.7 billion KRW this year.
This agreement is a measure to quickly provide delivery and courier fee subsidies to small business owners, promoted through cooperation between SEMAS, a specialized support organization for small business owners, and Woowa Brothers, Weidaesangsang, Coupang Eats Service, Barogo, Logiol, and Vroong.
The small business delivery and courier fee support project is conducted by SEMAS receiving information on small business owners using delivery and courier services from partner organizations, verifying eligibility, and then providing subsidies.
Partner organizations provide details of small business owners using delivery and courier services by institution, and SEMAS verifies eligibility criteria such as sales amount and business closure status for applicants to the delivery and courier fee support project, providing up to 300,000 KRW quickly without requiring additional documentation.
Park Seong-hyo, Director of SEMAS, said, "As this is a newly launched project for stabilizing small business management, we will closely cooperate with partner organizations to ensure that support is provided promptly without any issues."
