Analyzing the Impact of Diverse Climate Environments... Expanding the Global Database
Global cosmetics ODM (research, development, production) company COSMAX announced on the 7th that it has signed a business agreement with Beijing Technology and Business University in China for joint research on the mechanisms of skin aging. COSMAX plans to build a climate-based skin database with Beijing Technology and Business University to continue research on cosmetics tailored to the global market.
Beijing Technology and Business University is ranked first among Chinese universities in the field of cosmetics. In 2021, it was designated as a 'National First-Class Major' in cosmetics technology and processes. It possesses outstanding technological capabilities in the field of skin aging research.
COSMAX will study the mechanisms by which various climate environments across the Chinese mainland affect the skin condition of Chinese people to identify the causes of aging. In particular, it plans to advance exosome research analyzing the effects of external factors such as the environment, beyond genetic characteristics, on the skin.
A COSMAX representative said, "Based on extensive data from China, we will expand our research scope and lay the foundation for global customized cosmetics research."
COSMAX has signed MOUs with prestigious domestic and international universities and research institutions such as Seoul National University, Harvard University in the United States, Fudan University in China, and the National University of Singapore, and continues beauty technology research through open research (Open R&I).
