The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education announced that it will hold the appointment ceremony for the '23rd Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education Superintendent Pledge Evaluation Team' at the auditorium of the Health and Safety Promotion Institute on the same day. The evaluation team was selected through a public recruitment and lottery last month and consists of 96 members including citizens, parents, students, and faculty. They will divide Jeong's major pledges into five subcommittees and evaluate and monitor the fulfillment of the pledges until December next year.

Jeong, who was elected last October, presented five major policy directions: 'Customized education for all, education for creativity and coexistence future competencies, educational community of autonomy and participation, establishment of school autonomy based on communication and cooperation, and visiting administration of empathy and communication.' He also proposed 17 pledges and 55 detailed tasks in each area.

Among them, the pilot operation of the 'Learning Diagnosis Growth Center' to resolve educational gaps is prioritized. This center serves as a hub institution that systematically diagnoses and supports students' basic academic skills and learning growth. At the New Year's press conference on the 7th, Superintendent Jeong emphasized, "We will build a cooperative system so that anyone can nurture their dreams through in-depth diagnosis and customized support for students with complex and special factors."

In addition, the development of the 'Seoul Education Polarization Index' to identify educational disparities between regions and classes, and the operation of the 'Fact-Check Classroom' to secure historical self-identity are also considered representative pledges of Superintendent Jeong.

Superintendent Jeong said, "I will faithfully carry out Seoul education policies so that policies, strengthened by the efforts of students, parents, faculty, and citizens, can bear fruit without wavering."
