27 Economic Organizations Participate

The 'Incheon Economic Organizations Council,' consisting of 27 major economic organizations in the Incheon area, held its inaugural general meeting on the 6th.
At the event held in the main auditorium on the first floor of the Incheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the economic organizations issued a joint declaration, pledging close cooperation to promote Incheon's economic development and strengthen industrial competitiveness.
They declared, "We will prioritize Incheon's economic growth and development as our top task and actively cooperate to create a business-friendly environment," adding, "We will address economic issues and challenges together while effectively conveying unified opinions representing Incheon's economy."
They continued, "To enhance the competitiveness of local industries, we will expand the use of locally produced goods and promote region-centered economic activities," emphasizing, "We will concentrate all our capabilities to establish Incheon’s economy as a central part of the national economy and achieve tangible results."

The Incheon Economic Organizations Council will be led by Park Ju-bong, chairman of the Incheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who will serve as the standing representative. The council plans to discuss practical cooperation measures through regular and ad hoc meetings. Additionally, in collaboration with the National Intelligence Service branch, it will operate a 'Technology Leakage Reporting Center' to protect the industrial technology of local companies and pursue various projects to revitalize the Incheon economy.
Chairman Park stated, "In a rapidly changing economic environment, cooperation and joint response among economic organizations are essential for sustainable growth of Incheon's economy," adding, "We will strengthen solidarity and cooperation so that the council becomes a communication channel representing Incheon's economic community."
