The Korea Tourism Organization held its 2025 business briefing session on the 5th at the 'Lotte Hotel Seoul.'
The briefing was attended by over 200 key clients, including Regional Tourism Organizations (RTOs) from 17 cities and provinces nationwide, local governments, the tourism industry, and associations.

The organization shared detailed plans of the eight core projects announced on the 21st and provided specific explanations of public notices and contest projects that have garnered significant interest from clients.
The eight core projects previously announced by the organization are: ▲ Toward attracting the highest number of foreign tourists ever, aggressive global Korean tourism marketing ▲ A new paradigm through convergence of different industries, expanding the Korean tourism ecosystem ▲ Expanding overseas territories with K-content that captivates the world in the new Hallyu era ▲ Strengthening one-stop incubating functions as a base for overseas market entry and exports ▲ A country strong in regions, growing through tourism ▲ Easy and hassle-free travel, improving services at tourism touchpoints ▲ Change and development of the tourism industry led by open innovation ▲ A happy daily life through travel, a better life through tourism.
The organization plans to release materials related to the business briefing and the on-site recording on June 7th on the Korea Tourism Industry Portal 'Tourage.'
Seo Young-chung, Acting President of the organization, emphasized, "While last year we focused on stabilizing the tourism market, this year we will do our best to open an era of great leap forward for Korean tourism," adding, "Going forward, the organization will actively discover and promote demand-centered projects."
