Completion of This Year's Major Business Plan Report Meeting
Specific Plans Set for Segyo 3 District and Unamddeul AI City Development
Osan City in Gyeonggi Province has established a city administration direction to prioritize projects that have a high level of citizen satisfaction.
According to Osan City on the 5th, Mayor Lee Gwon-jae announced this policy at the '2025 Major Business Plan Report Meeting.'

The report meeting was organized to review last year's achievements and to specify the major tasks for 2025, aiming to leap forward as a 'self-sufficient Connect City with a population of 500,000.' The meeting, held six times from the 24th of last month to the 4th of this month, was attended by heads of departments and offices as well as staff members, who engaged in discussions in a town hall meeting format.
Key urban development projects discussed as core agenda items at the meeting included ▲utilization plans for the Segyo Terminal site ▲extension of the Seoul Metropolitan Area Express Train (GTX) Line C to Osan ▲relocation of the reserve forces training center ▲Unamddeul AI City development project ▲and landmark construction following the relocation of the comprehensive sports complex.
In particular, systematic planning following the selection of the Segyo 3 District public housing site was presented as an important task, and efficient urban management measures following the official launch of Osan Urban Corporation were also reviewed as major agenda items.
Plans to expand transportation infrastructure were also given significant attention. Participants discussed specific directions for advancing local transportation network expansion projects, including ▲road construction in Seorang-dong ▲road connection from Yangsan-dong to National Route 1 ▲tunnel construction in Jigot-dong ▲and the construction of a railway crossing road on the Gyeongbu Line.
Mayor Lee emphasized, "This year is an important turning point for Osan to leap into the future," adding, "We plan to continuously monitor the progress of major projects, prioritize those with high citizen satisfaction, and firmly establish the foundation for a 'self-sufficient Connect City with a population of 500,000.'"
