Nudge Healthcare's 'Cashwalk' Shows Clear B2B Success... "'Teamwork' Surpasses 40 Million Cumulative Participants"

According to Nudge Healthcare on the 5th, Cashwalk was the first to introduce a pedometer on the smartphone lock screen (Patent Registration No. 10-2034632), recording a cumulative download count of 23 million and a daily active user (DAU) count of 3.7 million as of December 2024.

The B2B and B2G challenge platform ‘Teamwork,’ launched in 2022, has collaborated with corporations, public institutions, and local governments, surpassing 40 million participants and 364 challenges cumulatively as of January 2025, proving the platform’s scalability. Teamwork provides services that enable the operation of various health challenges targeting large groups such as local residents and employees.

Cashwalk’s Teamwork has partnered with various companies including LG Electronics, Shinsegae Property, Ottogi, Korea Yakult, and the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation. It encouraged widespread participation through health challenges that synergize with brands, such as walking 200,000 steps, store photo certifications, and eating breakfast regularly.

To welcome the new year, a stamp challenge conducted in cooperation with ‘Starfield’ from the 15th of this month for about a month encouraged walking exercises in daily life at three locations: COEX, Goyang, and Suwon. Over 41,000 people participated, recording approximately 413 million steps. Additionally, the number of Teamwork subscribers increased by 54% during the challenge period compared to usual. Beyond the private sector, the campaign also delivered public value by conducting the ‘Wish Effect’ campaign for fulfilling wishes of children with incurable diseases in partnership with the international NGO ‘Make-A-Wish Korea.’

Recently, Cashwalk collaborated with the popular YouTube channel ‘With Sean’ to hold a friend invitation event and a New Year walking challenge for subscribers. Participants were encouraged to achieve up to 6,000 steps per day, totaling 60,000 steps, simultaneously promoting new user acquisition and the spread of a healthy lifestyle.

Numerous public interest projects have also been successfully promoted in cooperation with the government and local governments. First, Teamwork contributed to regional economic and tourism revitalization. It collaborated 31 times with the ‘Gangwon Tourism Foundation,’ boasting high satisfaction. In Seoul, the ‘Yeongdeungpo Modern History Course,’ ‘Dongjak-gu 42nd Street Walking Challenge,’ and ‘Mullae Creative Village Stamp Challenge’ recorded high participation rates. Walking campaigns reflecting local characteristics in Busan, Gangneung, and Gurye-gun in Jeollanam-do enhanced regional appeal. Furthermore, the advancement of the ‘Wrist Doctor 9988’ service, in cooperation with Seoul City and Samsung Electronics, is recognized as a successful case of smart health management in the public sector.

The ‘Everyone’s Breakfast Challenge,’ conducted with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, promoted healthy eating habits while contributing to the consumption of agricultural products. Moreover, Cashwalk’s commerce platform ‘Cashdeal’ also stood out in collaborations with the public sector. The ‘Cashdeal Seafood Festival,’ in cooperation with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, promoted seafood consumption, and this year, Cashdeal expanded its activities by participating in the ‘Agricultural and Livestock Product Support Project.’

Recently, Nudge Healthcare made a pre-Series A investment in the running platform ‘Runnable,’ planning to expand the wellness ecosystem by combining Runnable’s differentiated competitiveness with Nudge Healthcare’s unique user network and data. Jungshin Park, CEO of Nudge Healthcare, stated, “In 2025, we plan to continuously secure new user segments for Cashwalk and expand the platform. We will also continue to broaden our presence in the B2B and B2G sectors to further strengthen our position in the digital healthcare market.”
