Hampyeong County in South Jeolla Province announced on the 5th that it will provide 300,000 KRW in public utility fee support to help reduce the management cost burden for local small business owners who are struggling due to rising prices and economic downturn.

This support fund is intended to be used for fixed public utility expenses such as electricity, gas, and water, helping to ease the management cost burden for small businesses.

Eligible recipients are small business owners with annual sales of less than 104 million KRW who registered and maintained their business in Hampyeong County before December 16 of last year. Businesses excluded from small business policy fund loans, such as general entertainment bars and dance entertainment bars, are not eligible.

To apply, visit the town or township office where the business is located and submit the required documents, including the business registration certificate, VAT standard tax certificate, and health insurance subscriber contribution statement for the business.

County Governor Lee Sangik said, "I hope the public utility fee support project will help stabilize the management of small businesses in the region, even if just a little," and added, "We will continue to discover and actively support various support projects for small businesses in the future."
