Fintech company Finda succeeded in turning a profit in the fourth quarter of last year. The company explained that its performance improved thanks to an 8 percentage point increase in customer revisit rates and a 24 percentage point rise in loan approval rates from partner institutions over the year.

Finda announced on the 5th that it turned a profit in the fourth quarter of last year with a net income of 243.76 million KRW and an operating profit of 23.09 million KRW. Revenue increased by 5.7% to approximately 7.2 billion KRW.

Finda stated that it focused on driving loyal customer revisits. Despite reducing advertising expenses by 55% compared to the same period last year, the cumulative number of registered members increased by 19.1% to 3.13 million.

The revisit user rate rose by 8.1 percentage points year-over-year to 83.5%. The loan contract rate among revisit users increased by 11 percentage points compared to the same period last year. The rate of MyData linkage within 30 days after new registration also increased 3.5 times during the same period.

The loan approval rate from partner institutions increased by 24.4 percentage points year-over-year. A Finda representative said, "The sequential onboarding of loan products from first-tier financial institutions such as commercial banks and internet banks, which offer user-tailored products, was effective."

Loans to high-credit borrowers with credit scores above 900 increased. The number of loan limit inquiries rose by 10.7%. Applications increased by 21.8%, and contracted loan amounts grew by 5.3%. The average loan contract amount per case increased by 7.7%.
