After Towel Cake, Next is Tofu Pudding?... Gongcha Launches 3 Types of Brown Sugar Tofu

New Menu Featuring Taiwanese Dessert Douhua
Douhua: Tofu Pudding with Various Toppings
Reinterpreted in Gongcha Style Through Collaboration with Pulmuone

Gongcha Korea announced on the 4th that it will launch three unique new menu items called ‘Black Sugar Tofu’ using the Taiwanese dessert ‘Douhua’ in collaboration with Pulmuone.

Douhua is one of Taiwan’s popular desserts, consisting of tofu pudding served with various toppings. Known for its soft texture and savory flavor, it is a dish enjoyed by people of all ages. For the development of this new menu, Gongcha collaborated with the food company Pulmuone to reinterpret Douhua in Gongcha’s own style, presenting the Black Sugar Tofu new menu.

After Towel Cake, Next is Tofu Pudding?... Gongcha Launches 3 Types of Brown Sugar Tofu

The Black Sugar Tofu new menu is an original tea variation combining Gongcha’s hit items ‘Black Sugar’ and ‘Mini Pearls’ with Douhua. It consists of three types: ‘Black Sugar Tofu Milk + Mini Pearls,’ ‘Black Heart Black Sugar Tofu Milk Tea + Pearls,’ and ‘Black Sugar Tofu Crush + Mini Pearls.’ A whole Pulmuone ‘Duhua’ is included, allowing customers to experience a richer savory flavor and smoothness. Additionally, the combination of sweet black sugar and soft, chewy pearls creates a new tofu taste that breaks the conventional mold.

Gongcha offers tofu pudding using Douhua as a limited seasonal topping. With a custard-like soft texture, adding this topping enriches the flavor of the beverage. The tofu pudding topping can only be added to Black Sugar Tofu Milk and Black Heart Tofu Milk Tea.

To celebrate the launch of the new menu, Gongcha is also running a ‘Double Stamp Accumulation Promotion.’ It will be held for seven days until February 10th. When purchasing one of the three Black Sugar Tofu new menu items, customers will receive two stamps on the Gongcha membership app. Ten stamps can be exchanged for one free drink. Additionally, for Valentine’s Day, from February 12th to 17th, the ‘Catch My Love Douhua’ event will take place. Inspired by the whack-a-mole game, participants capture heart-shaped Douhua that appear randomly and upload them to their Instagram stories.

A Gongcha Korea representative said, “As various dishes using tofu have recently gained attention, Gongcha aimed to present a new perspective in the domestic beverage market through its unique tofu milk tea,” adding, “We hope customers will experience the new taste and charm of tofu through this new menu available exclusively at Gongcha.”
