Watcha Streaming 'Love Letter', 'Mikami Seonsaengnim' and More

'Love Letter,' 'Mikami Sensei,'
and 'Jerry Who Stars as Himself,'
as well as 'Secret Relationship'

Watcha announced on the 3rd that it will be offering the movie 'Love Letter,' the Japanese drama 'Mikami Sensei,' the American movie 'Jerry Who Stars as Himself,' and the Korean drama 'Secret Relationship' this month.

Movie 'Love Letter' still cut

'Love Letter' is a representative work of director Shunji Iwai. It gained great popularity in Korea as well, with the snowy landscapes of Hokkaido, Japan, Miho Nakayama's passionate performance, and an emotionally stirring OST. The story revolves around exchanging letters with someone who shares the same name as a deceased lover, rewriting the memories of first love kept deep in the heart. It will be released on Watcha on the 3rd. A representative stated, "We have improved the existing subtitles' paraphrasing and mistranslations to be closer to the original work."

'Mikami Sensei' tells the story of an elite bureaucrat from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology who becomes a homeroom teacher for third-year high school students and confronts corrupt power. The screenplay was written by Roba Shimori, who won the Best Screenplay Award at the Japan Academy Prize for the movie 'The Journalist,' and stars Tori Matsuzaka and Riho Yoshioka. New episodes will be released every Friday.

'Jerry Who Stars as Himself' is a work where the real-life subject wrote the screenplay and acted. It tells the story of Jerry, an ordinary Taiwanese who came to America with the American Dream and struggles to clear himself of large-scale money laundering charges. It received enthusiastic responses at the 2023 Busan International Film Festival and a blind screening last November.

Movie 'Appearance by Jerry' Still Cut

'Secret Relationship' is a BL story depicting the complicated relationships between Daon, who appears shabby on the outside, and three men surrounding him. It stars Kim Junseo and Cha Sunhyung, Cha Jungwoo, and Kim Hoyoung, members of the group WEi. It will be released on Watcha on the 27th.
