From Whiskey Knowledge to Glenfiddich 12, 15, and 18-Year Tasting
Operates Every Friday and Saturday Starting February 22... Reservations Available on Catch Table
William Grant & Sons Korea announced on the 31st that it will operate the ‘Glenfiddich Tasting & Mentoring’ program for single malt whiskey beginners starting from the 22nd of next month.
The Glenfiddich Tasting & Mentoring journey is led by Baedaewon, Glenfiddich Brand Ambassador, covering whiskey knowledge, drinking methods, and tastings of Glenfiddich 12-year, 15-year, and 18-year expressions. This program is designed to provide a friendly and enjoyable whiskey experience for beginners who are interested in whiskey but unsure where to start.
The mentoring will be conducted over two phases across seven weeks. The first phase runs from February 22 to March 15, with sessions every Friday and Saturday, divided into two parts: Part 1 (3 PM) and Part 2 (7 PM). The second phase is scheduled from March 21 to April 5. Applications for the first phase open on January 24, and for the second phase on February 21. The Glenfiddich Tasting & Mentoring sessions will take place at the Glenfiddich Lounge located in Factorial Seongsu and can be reserved through Catch Table.
Notably, this mentoring will include a detailed explanation of the 'Solera Vet,' a core technique that has consistently maintained the high taste and quality of Glenfiddich 15-year since 1998. Through this program, Glenfiddich expects consumers who may feel somewhat unfamiliar with whiskey to expand their connection with Glenfiddich and deepen their understanding and affinity for single malts.
Baedaewon, Glenfiddich Brand Ambassador, stated, "This mentoring program is designed so that whiskey beginners can learn easily and enjoyably while experiencing a variety of high-quality Glenfiddich whiskeys." He added, "It is expected to be a highly welcomed opportunity and a beneficial starting point for those who wanted to learn whiskey more systematically."
