According to the police on the 31st, the Prosecution's Special Investigation Headquarters for Emergency Martial Law (Headed by Park Se-hyun, Chief Prosecutor of Seoul High Prosecutors' Office) has been conducting a search and seizure at the National Security Investigation Division of the National Police Agency's Criminal Investigation Headquarters since the afternoon.
The police are suspected of having formed an arrest squad at the request of the Defense Counterintelligence Command (Bangcheopsa) on the 3rd of last month. According to the prosecution, Bangcheopsa requested the National Police Agency's Criminal Investigation Headquarters to support the arrest of key politicians by providing personnel, and it has been confirmed that the police handed over a list of some detectives.
