He added, "The attitude of MBC, the deceased's workplace, is disappointing. It has already been four months since her death, yet there has been no investigation or action, which is hard to understand." He also criticized, "The claim that no action could be taken because the deceased never reported to the company authorities is irresponsible." In particular, he said, "Distorting criticism of this case as an attempt to shake MBC or as media suppression is a secondary harm that insults the deceased and wounds the bereaved family." He demanded, "MBC should show a responsible attitude regarding this workplace harassment allegation."

Earlier, Oh passed away in September last year. Although the cause was not initially revealed, it was recently reported that a 17-page handwritten suicide note was found on her mobile phone. Suspicions arose that workplace harassment was the cause of death. In response, MBC stated, "The deceased, working as a freelancer, never informed the relevant departments (Human Resources Counseling Office of the Management Support Bureau, Audit Office Clean Center) or the managers responsible for her work about her difficulties." They added, "If the deceased had officially reported her grievances (including workplace harassment) to the company or even informed responsible managers in any way, the company would have naturally conducted a proper investigation." They also emphasized, "At the same time, we express concern about the forces approaching this issue as an 'attempt to shake MBC,' as if seizing an opportunity, without knowing the exact facts."
