Rain or snow is predicted from dawn until night in the metropolitan area and inland/mountain areas of Gangwon Province, and from afternoon until night in northern Chungcheong Province. Rain is expected from night in the western part of Jeonnam region, the west coast of Jeonbuk, and Jeju Island.
Expected precipitation amounts are less than 5mm in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi Province, and the five western islands, less than 5mm in inland and mountain areas of Gangwon Province, and less than 1mm in northern Chungcheong Province and central to northern Chungbuk.
Expected snowfall amounts are 1 to 5cm in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi Province, the five western islands, and inland/mountain areas of Gangwon Province, and around 1cm in northern Chungnam and central to northern Chungbuk.
Morning low temperatures are expected to be between -10 and 2 degrees Celsius. Daytime high temperatures will range from 1 to 11 degrees Celsius.
With temperatures remaining low, snow is expected to freeze, causing icy roads and slippery sidewalks, so caution is needed when walking or driving.
Fine dust levels are forecasted to be 'bad' in southern Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi Province, Sejong, and Chungnam, while other areas will experience levels ranging from 'good' to 'moderate.' Northern Gyeonggi Province and Chungbuk are expected to have 'bad' levels in the morning.
