Improving Late-Night Access to Medicines in the Eastern Region
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi announced on the 24th that it will designate and operate one additional public late-night pharmacy in the eastern region starting this year to improve citizens' access to medicines during late hours.

The 'Public Late-Night Pharmacy,' which operates year-round without holidays, is designated to allow citizens to easily purchase medicines during medically vulnerable times such as late at night or holidays and to reduce unnecessary emergency room visits by patients with severe conditions.
The newly designated public late-night pharmacy is 'Good Morning Pharmacy' in Gibae-dong. It is available every night from 10 PM to 1 AM the next day.
Until now, Hwaseong City has operated five public late-night pharmacies: three in the western area and two in the Dongtan area. With this new designation in the eastern area, the total number of public late-night pharmacies in the city will increase to six.
The public late-night pharmacies by region are ▲ Gongdan Market Pharmacy in Mado-myeon ▲ Nice Osuh Pharmacy in Ujeong-eup ▲ Sangshin Dream Pharmacy in Hyangnam-eup ▲ Easy Pharmacy in Yeongcheon-dong ▲ Parang Pharmacy in Sancheok-dong ▲ and Good Morning Pharmacy in Gibae-dong. Among these, Gongdan Market Pharmacy in Mado-myeon operates from 10 PM to 8 AM the next day, while the other pharmacies operate from 10 PM to 1 AM the next day.
