Yeongdeok-gun Conducts Environmental Cleanup Activities for Lunar New Year

Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, conducted environmental cleanup activities on the 22nd and 23rd along National Route 7 between Yeongdeok and Chuksan for two days to provide a pleasant environment for expatriates and tourists visiting their hometown during the Lunar New Year holiday.

This activity focused on collecting trash mainly along the windy roadside and nearby mountains during winter, and during the holiday period, efforts will concentrate on collecting household waste and tidying up around disposal sites to maintain a clean environment.

Kim Myeong-hee, Director of the Environmental Sanitation Division, stated, “We will do our best to ensure that everyone can spend the holiday happily in a pleasant environment befitting Yeongdeok’s name, which boasts pristine nature.”
