Mediazen announced on the 24th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Library Culture Promotion Institute and Dan&New to develop and distribute AI education programs based on libraries.
According to the agreement, they will collaborate on ▲developing, distributing, and supporting nationwide library-based AI programs ▲joint operation and support of the Neulbom School program ▲distribution and support of overseas public library content. Mediazen and Dan&New jointly planned and are piloting the AI English program "Rokitoki," which will be provided to kindergarten and elementary users at libraries nationwide. They plan to jointly design various AI programs linked to reading activities within libraries.
They will cooperate in the Neulbom School joint project for elementary students starting this year, supplying and supporting AI education programs for children. The goal is to jointly promote AI education programs proposed to enhance children's self-directed learning ability and creativity, and later expand them as after-school learning content. Additionally, they will collaborate in providing AI education to strengthen librarians' capabilities and expand job opportunities.
They also agreed to pool the competitiveness of each institution to cooperate on overseas support projects to become exemplary cases abroad. In particular, they will plan and propose excellent AI education content linked to overseas public library ODA (Official Development Assistance) projects. AI English experience programs for library culture promotion and AI Korean language education programs for multicultural families will also be introduced.
A company representative stated, "We will strive to establish AI education programs for library culture promotion as successful domestic and overseas cases," and added, "We will create a future learning environment where AI technology and book content can be experienced."
