Goheung County, South Jeolla Province (Governor Gong Youngmin) announced on the 24th that a residents' briefing session for the "Nokdong District Flood Risk Comprehensive Maintenance Project" was held at the Doyang-eup Office on the 23rd.
According to the county, Nokdongcheon, which flows through the Nokdong city center, has repeatedly suffered from flooding due to its narrow river width and poor drainage in the low-lying area around the public terminal, making improvements urgently needed.
Goheung County held a resident briefing session on the 23rd at Doyang-eup Office with the participation of about 100 residents and stakeholders to explain the progress of the detailed design, facility maintenance plan, and future schedule for the "Nokdong District Flood and Wind Disaster Living Zone Comprehensive Maintenance Project."
