Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Bang Se-hwan) announced on the 24th that it held a completion report meeting for the online promotional hall ‘Gwangju e-Jangteo,’ which was promoted to expand sales channels for excellent local products and revitalize the local economy, at the Sunam Hall of City Hall on the 23rd.

About 30 people attended the report meeting, including Mayor Bang Se-hwan, the Director of the Planning and Finance Bureau, the Head of the Regional Economy Division, the Head of the Enterprise Support Division, city officials, representatives from Gyeonggi Technopark, and executives and staff from organizations related to small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners.
At the meeting, the construction process and operation plan of ‘Gwangju e-Jangteo’ were presented, and ways to pioneer online sales channels and increase sales for small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners in Gwangju City were explored. In addition, various opinions for revitalizing the local economy and suggestions on difficulties faced by companies were exchanged to discuss practical support measures.
In particular, ‘Gwangju e-Jangteo’ is an online platform prepared to effectively promote excellent products within the region and strengthen connections with consumers, and it is expected to invigorate the local economy through full-scale operation.
Mayor Bang Se-hwan stated, “Gwangju e-Jangteo will be a platform where small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners in our region can strengthen their competitiveness and grow in the digital era,” adding, “We will continue to listen to the voices of local companies and expand practical support policies.”
Meanwhile, after the completion report meeting, the attendees pledged to work hard to revitalize the local economy by performing a commemorative photo session and a local economy revitalization performance.
