Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital (Director Min Jeongjun) announced on the 24th that it delivered Lunar New Year gifts to pediatric patients.
The delivery ceremony, held on the 73rd ward of Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital on the 23rd, was attended by the Gwangju-Jeonnam Branch of the Korea Association for Children with Leukemia and Cancer, and the Gwangju Naeum Pediatric Cancer Center of the Korea Pediatric Leukemia Foundation.
The gifts delivered to the hospitalized children included 12 sets of gim (dried seaweed), as well as vitamins, speakers, and 15 drawing kits.
Kim Bonghak, Secretary General of the Gwangju-Jeonnam Branch of the Korea Association for Children with Leukemia and Cancer, stated, "We prepared these gifts to bring comfort, courage, and hope to patients and guardians who must receive treatment in the hospital even during the holidays."
Lim Heeseon, Head of the Social Work Team at Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital, said, "We are deeply grateful for the continued visits and gifts during every holiday," and added, "Our hospital will do our best to ensure that the children remain healthy even during the holiday period."
