Jin Air announced on the 24th that starting from the 1st of next month, it will resume international flight check-in services at the Gwangmyeong Station City Airport Terminal for flights departing from Incheon Airport. This comes about five years after the service was suspended in April 2020 due to COVID-19.

At the check-in counter reopening this time, passengers can complete boarding procedures such as issuing boarding passes (except for routes to the Americas) and checking in checked baggage. Golf bags are allowed as checked baggage, but other sports equipment, musical instruments, and oversized luggage over 150 cm in length are not permitted for check-in. Travelers who complete their boarding procedures at the City Airport Terminal can take a limousine bus or other transportation to Incheon Airport and proceed directly to immigration through a dedicated exit.
The Gwangmyeong Station City Airport Terminal operates from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jin Air passengers must complete check-in at least 3 hours and 20 minutes before their flight departure and then proceed to Terminal 2 of Incheon Airport.
A Jin Air official stated, "Using the City Airport Terminal will be more convenient during busy airport hours," adding, "We hope passengers will check in their heavy luggage in advance and travel to the airport more comfortably."
