Bando Construction announced on the 24th that it conducted winter job training for on-site executives and employees to enhance communication and job competencies.
This job training was prepared to provide opportunities for communication and harmony among employees, improve teamwork and sense of belonging among team members working together at each site, and strengthen practical skills.
The participants were executives and employees from all sites currently under construction and the CS office, divided into four sessions. Groups were formed by adjacent hierarchical levels and the training was conducted over a 2-day, 1-night schedule per session.
The job training included communication and collaboration education to facilitate smooth work progress and cooperation among on-site executives and employees, as well as resilience enhancement training for those working in high-intensity environments.
Additionally, external professional instructors were invited to sequentially provide education on how to respond to potential conflict situations during work and practical training on quality and subcontract management.
At headquarters, department heads attended the job training separately to ensure that work is performed under unified standards, receiving education on the company’s management policies and work guidelines.
This job training began last year and is conducted semiannually. All on-site executives and employees, from staff to managers, participate. The training is conducted in groups by adjacent ranks, providing opportunities for communication while simultaneously allowing juniors to naturally learn know-how from seniors through joint job training.
Lee Jeong-ryeol, Head of Construction Division at Bando Construction, stated, "Since the site is a place where many executives and employees work together, cooperation is crucial," adding, "We will continue to conduct job training to provide opportunities for teamwork and practical skill enhancement through intergenerational exchange among all on-site executives and employees."
