Hanil Cement announced on the 24th that it has fully remodeled and reopened the history museum "H STORY" located within the Danyang Plant.

The museum is composed of content introducing Hanil Cement's history, its affiliate companies such as Hanil Hyundai Cement, and the cement production process. Upon entering the approximately 400㎡ museum, visitors are greeted with a welcome video played on a 160-inch transparent LED screen. Along the walls, exhibits showcase the current status of the cement industry in Korea, Hanil Cement's 60-year history, and introductions to its affiliates and business divisions.

In the central area, content introducing the cement production process is displayed. A projection mapping show is conducted on a miniature model of the entire Hanil Cement Danyang Plant, scaled down to 1/550. The entire process of cement production, from limestone mining to cement shipment, is presented.

Hanil Cement and Hanil Hyundai Cement's eco-friendly production technologies are introduced through a production facility model measuring 1 meter in height and 2 meters in width. The model demonstrates the use of alternative fuels that help reduce carbon emissions and the eco-friendly power generation process utilizing waste heat. There is also an experience table where visitors can touch cement raw materials such as limestone and clinker.

A Hanil Cement representative said, "This space allows visitors to see not only Hanil's past but also its future efforts toward achieving carbon neutrality at a glance," adding, "We will continue to carry out various promotional activities through the history museum."
