A total of 28.6 billion KRW in payments for construction, services, and goods
to be made before the Seollal holiday
Busan Metropolitan Corporation (BMC) will pay a total of 28.6 billion KRW for construction, services, and goods to reduce the financial burden on partner companies and workers and to contribute to revitalizing the local economy in celebration of the upcoming Seollal holiday.
This measure was taken to support the cash flow of partner companies and service workers ahead of the Seollal holiday and to create a virtuous cycle effect in the local economy.
BMC also plans to execute more than 70% of its annual procurement plan in the first half of this year. Detailed procurement plan information can be found on the Nara Marketplace website.
Shin Chang-ho, President of Busan Metropolitan Corporation, said, “We hope that this payment will enable local public enterprises and communities to coexist and contribute to revitalizing the livelihood economy.”
