KB Securities Practices Care for Vulnerable Elderly Ahead of Seollal

KB Securities announced on the 24th that it delivered food items and winter heating products to vulnerable elderly residents in Seoul in celebration of the Lunar New Year.

KB Securities delivers various food and daily necessities every Lunar New Year and Chuseok to help local community neighbors enjoy a warm holiday. Starting from Chuseok in 2017, this initiative has been ongoing for nine years, and including this Lunar New Year, warmth has been shared with a total of 5,360 households.


This time, to celebrate the Lunar New Year, KB Securities delivered not only convenient meals such as rice cake soup rice cakes, ox bone soup, and abalone porridge but also electric blankets for a warm winter to 400 vulnerable elderly households in the Seoul area.


KB Securities co-CEOs Kim Seong-hyun and Lee Hong-gu said, "In these difficult economic times, we prepared a small gift with the hope that elderly people in the community who need care can have a warm Lunar New Year." They added, "KB Securities will continue to strive to fulfill its corporate social responsibility through various social contribution activities."


KB Securities carries out various social contribution activities for vulnerable groups to practice ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance)-centered sustainable management. The company has been running the 'Rainbow Classroom,' which improves the education and living environment of children domestically and abroad, for 17 years this year. It also conducts social contribution activities such as 'Happy Ttukttak Kkaebi Securities Green Camping' for low-income families and free wedding support for vulnerable groups.
