Price Hike for Garlic Bulgogi Whopper, Whopper Junior, and More Starting on the 24th
French Fries Also Increase from 2,100 Won to 2,200 Won
"Difficult to Bear Rising Exchange Rates and Raw Material Costs"
The price of Burger King's signature menu item, the Whopper, will increase by 100 won from the previous price to 7,200 won.
Burger King announced on the 24th that it will raise the prices of some products starting from the 24th due to the impact of high exchange rates and rising raw material costs. This price increase comes about 22 months after March 2023.

As a result, the Whopper will be adjusted from 7,100 won to 7,200 won for a single item, and the Garlic Bulgogi Whopper will change from 7,400 won to 7,500 won. The Whopper Junior will increase from 4,700 won to 4,800 won, and French fries will go from 2,100 won to 2,200 won. The average rate of increase is 1.07%, and all products subject to price adjustment will see a 100 won increase in selling price.
A Burger King representative explained, "Due to the ongoing cost burden caused by rising global raw material prices and exchange rates, we have inevitably decided to adjust prices. We have tried to suppress price increases as much as possible, but it has become difficult to bear the rising raw material costs any longer." They added, "To minimize the burden on customers, we have set the increase to the lowest level, and we will continue to do our best to provide the best quality and service at reasonable prices."
