iM Securities announced on the 24th that it conducted a social contribution activity to deliver warmth to single-person households and vulnerable households.
This social contribution activity was prepared to welcome the New Year and supports the prevention of social isolation of single-person households in the region and the revitalization of the local community.
On the 22nd, iM Securities delivered a 10 million KRW Alley Garden Creation Fund at Nutinamu Foundation, attended by Ryu Si-woong, Head of iM Securities Management Strategy Headquarters, Park Young-sook, Chairperson of Nutinamu Foundation, and other related personnel.
The delivered fund will be used for the Alley Garden Creation project to create a vegetable garden near the library operated by Nutinamu Foundation. The plan is to distribute potted plants for which single-person households are responsible, and to create a communal garden where anyone in the village community can participate, cultivate, interact, and relax, thereby expanding social contact points for isolated households such as single-person households.
Nutinamu Foundation is a non-profit public corporation established to contribute to the creation of a new library culture as a cultural space of sharing. It operates Nutinamu Libraries in the Yongin and Bundang areas and conducts various cultural activities such as reading sessions and book clubs.
Head Ryu Si-woong said, "This activity was prepared to support the prevention of social isolation of single-person households, which increase every year, as we welcome the New Year," adding, "We expect to create a social environment where self-esteem is enhanced and daily vitality is added through the increase of social contact points for isolated households by creating alley gardens, enabling us to build a future together."
