Jangseong County Makes All-Out Efforts to Secure 435.5 Billion Won in National Funds for Next Year

Jangseong County in Jeonnam has taken swift action to secure national funding for next year.

According to the county on the 24th, a '2026 National Funding Project Discovery Briefing' was held in the county office situation room on the 22nd, presided over by County Governor Kim Hanjong.

During the meeting, explanations, progress reports, and reviews of necessity and feasibility were conducted for 51 projects identified for next year, with a total project budget of 435.5 billion KRW.

Discussions were held on major projects such as the establishment of a road black ice prediction and warning system, drainage improvement in the Hwangryong District of Hwangryong-myeon, the creation of the Honam National Forest Leisure Sports Center, the construction of the National Turfgrass Research Institute, and the establishment of the National Subtropical Native Plant Garden.

The county will incorporate the opinions presented at the meeting to enhance the completeness of project plans and will make every effort to secure national funding before the central government finalizes its budget.
