Apply for Ulsan Youth Household Housing Cost Support Program

Applications open for unmarried youth aged 19 to 39 until February 28
Up to 150,000 KRW per month for rent and rental deposit interest

Ulsan City will recruit applicants for the '2025 Youth Household Housing Cost Support Project' from February 3 to 28.

This project is promoted to help stabilize housing for youth households and support their settlement in the region.

The project budget has increased by 400 million KRW compared to last year, totaling 2.034 billion KRW, and will support housing costs for about 1,700 households, including reselected households from the 1,509 households chosen last year and 500 newly selected households this year.

The support amount is provided in cash for up to 4 years (48 months), with a maximum monthly rent of 100,000 KRW and 50,000 KRW for interest on rental deposits.

The eligible applicants are single-person households without housing, aged between 19 and 39, who are heads of households residing in rental housing located in Ulsan City with rental deposits of 100 million KRW or less and monthly rent of 500,000 KRW or less, and whose income is at or below 150% of the median income.

However, applicants whose landlords are family members, or who live in illegal buildings, dormitories, guest houses, or commercial-residential buildings are excluded. Also, those already receiving housing support benefits from the government or local governments cannot receive duplicate support.

Youth wishing to apply for housing cost support can do so through the Ulsan Housing Support Project website.

Detailed information can be found in the announcement on the Ulsan Housing Support Project website.

An official from Ulsan City stated, “Given the recent economic situation with high interest rates and high inflation, which has intensified employment difficulties and economic hardships, we expect that supporting housing costs for youth households will help stabilize housing and promote settlement of youth households in Ulsan.” He added, “We will continue to discover and develop various policies to ensure the livelihood stability of the youth in the future.”
