This workshop will be held until the 25th at the Small and Medium Business Training Institute in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province. It was organized to respond to the rapidly changing export environment, such as global supply chain uncertainties and the spread of protectionism, and to seek more effective and timely response measures.
About 60 participants, including Kang Seok-jin, Chairman of SBC, representatives from 27 overseas bases in 16 countries, and employees from related departments, attended the workshop. They engaged in discussions and information sharing to create achievements for locally established companies and to strengthen the comprehensive support functions for the globalization of enterprises. In particular, discussions were held on ways to advance the operation of overseas bases and establish a global comprehensive support system. Presentations on successful overseas expansion cases and best practices were conducted, along with a special lecture by an expert on the impact of President Trump's election on domestic industries.
In his closing remarks, Chairman Kang said, "Let us all actively communicate and cooperate to turn the export crisis faced by SMEs and startups into an opportunity and lay the foundation for growth to leap onto the global stage." He added, "Based on the various opinions and strategies discussed at this workshop, SBC will continue to provide practical support as a reliable partner for SMEs and startups."
