Singer Lee Hyunseung and Kim Nayul Appointed as Geumcheon-gu Public Ambassadors

Expected to Be an Opportunity to Widely Promote "Good City Geumcheon"

Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced on the 23rd that trot singers Lee Hyun-seung and Kim Na-yul have been appointed as ambassadors for Geumcheon-gu.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the district's establishment, the district appointed ambassadors to widely promote "Good City Geumcheon" and enhance the effectiveness of district administration publicity. The ambassadors were selected as individuals who reside in Geumcheon-gu, have affection for the area, and can actively communicate with residents.

Singer Lee Hyun-seung, appointed as a Geumcheon-gu ambassador, is loved for his representative songs such as "A Man's Tears" and "Foolish Love." Since the COVID-19 pandemic, he has consistently practiced sharing by donating masks and rice to the local community.

Singer Kim Na-yul is a versatile talent who has won various music competitions and appeared on Miss Trot 3, reaching the top 12. In addition to her proven vocal skills, she has mastered traditional Korean music (gugak). With her lively charm, she plans to meet residents and effectively share district news.

The two newly appointed ambassadors will actively promote Geumcheon-gu in various ways, including participating in the district's festivals and events.

Lee Hyun-seung said, "I feel honored to be appointed as an ambassador for Geumcheon, which has been developing for 30 years and is being polished from a rough stone into a gem," and added, "I will work hard to widely promote Geumcheon-gu."

Kim Na-yul said, "Until yesterday, I was a resident of Geumcheon-gu, but today I am very happy to become an ambassador for Geumcheon-gu," and added, "I will actively take the lead in promoting Geumcheon-gu."

Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, said, "I sincerely thank singers Lee Hyun-seung and Kim Na-yul for willingly accepting the role of ambassadors," and added, "I hope the two newly appointed ambassadors will widely share the various charms and new changes of Geumcheon-gu."

To mark the 30th anniversary of its establishment this year, Geumcheon-gu has newly appointed ambassadors and is making efforts to enhance the brand value of Geumcheon-gu by producing and distributing commemorative materials promoting the 30th anniversary throughout the region.
