Daegu Regional Tax Office (Commissioner Han Kyung-sun) conducted a traditional market shopping event and visited social welfare facilities on the 23rd ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday to revitalize the local economy and promote a culture of sharing.


Han Kyung-sun, Commissioner of the Daegu Regional Tax Office, visited Waryong Market in Dalseo-gu to encourage small business owners who are experiencing economic difficulties due to subdued consumer sentiment amid high inflation and economic recession, and to support the revitalization of traditional markets.

Also Visits Orphanage to Deliver Consolation Money Daegu National Tax Service Commissioner Han Kyung-seon, who participated in the Lunar New Year shopping event, is purchasing fruit at Waryong Market in Dalseo-gu, Daegu.

In particular, for Daegu Regional Tax Office employees who could not visit the traditional market in person, the desired items for purchase were identified in advance and purchased collectively, making the shopping event practical and satisfying for both merchants and employees.


On the same day, Commissioner Han Kyung-sun visited Sin-ae Childcare Center, a child welfare facility in Seo-gu, Daegu, and delivered consolation money while warmly encouraging the childcare center staff who practice devoted care.


Commissioner Han Kyung-sun of Daegu said, “Although it is a small gesture, I hope it helps small business owners and neighbors going through difficult times to have a warm and heartfelt Lunar New Year holiday. We will continue to practice sharing with neighbors and fulfill our social responsibilities as a public institution through various social contribution activities.”


Meanwhile, the Daegu Regional Tax Office and its subordinate tax offices have established sisterhood relationships with local traditional markets, designated and operated “Traditional Market Visiting Days,” and regularly visit social welfare facilities to deliver consolation goods, continuously practicing social contribution activities.
