Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Gori Nuclear Headquarters Practices Community Sharing for Seollal Holiday

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters carried out active social contribution activities by visiting various parts of the local community to celebrate the Eulsa Year Lunar New Year holiday.


First, on the 22nd, the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters held a 'Traditional Market Shopping Event for the Lunar New Year.' During the event, Lee Sang-wook, head of the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters, and the staff purchased various items such as fruits, vegetables, meat, and miscellaneous goods at the Wolnae Oil Market and delivered them to 30 vulnerable households within Gijang-gun.

Additionally, on the 21st, they conducted a 'Side Dish Sharing Activity.' The Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters supported 23 million KRW for purchasing holiday food and delivered it to 40 vulnerable households in the surrounding area.

On the 20th, they purchased approximately 42 million KRW worth of locally produced agricultural products, including 1,370 bags of Gijang rice and 250 boxes of Gijang pears, and supported nearby welfare facilities and villages.


Lee Sang-wook, head of the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, "To celebrate the nation's biggest holiday, Lunar New Year, we organized this event to revitalize the local economy and support vulnerable groups." He added, "Going forward, the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters plans to design and carry out social contribution activities that ensure happiness for the entire local community."
