This agreement was established to verify the qualifications of childcare teachers through aptitude tests during the hiring process and to create a trusted childcare environment.
The main contents of the agreement include ▲establishing a collaborative system to promote aptitude tests for childcare teachers ▲providing administrative support to activate aptitude tests in public daycare centers ▲joint efforts to efficiently utilize test results and enhance expected effects.
According to the agreement, the Uijeongbu City Daycare Center Association Public Sector Division will actively participate in supporting the costs of aptitude tests, and Joongang Education Co., Ltd. (Alzzat.com) will provide cooperation to reduce testing costs. The city plans to spare no administrative support necessary to promote the tests.
Through this agreement, aptitude tests will be made mandatory in the hiring process of public daycare center childcare teachers. Aptitude and tendencies, which are difficult to grasp through interviews alone, will be evaluated from multiple perspectives and reflected in hiring and job placement based on job suitability and potential.
Ryu Sook-hyang, head of the Public Sector Division, stated, “We will take the lead in promoting aptitude tests for public daycare center childcare teachers to contribute to enhancing operational reliability,” adding, “We will operate trusted daycare centers through efficient use of the tests.”
Mayor Kim Dong-geun said, “By strengthening the verification of qualifications and capabilities when hiring childcare teachers, parents will feel more at ease, teachers will feel more fulfilled, and children will enjoy a happier childcare environment,” and added, “I hope this agreement will be the starting point for sustainable childcare policies.”
