Immersive Exhibition Hall Based in Miami, USA
First Investment in Asia to Be Made in Incheon
Incheon City has embarked on attracting a world-class museum to leap forward as a global tourist city.
Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok, currently on a business trip in the United States, received a letter of intent on the 22nd (local time) at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Washington from Daniel Dolan, CEO of Superblue, to bring the immersive exhibition hall 'Superblue Korea' to Incheon.
Superblue is the first immersive exhibition space established in Miami by Pace, a world-renowned New York-based gallery with a 63-year history.
Superblue, created by remodeling a 50,000㎡ former factory site in Miami, features spaces curated and directed by 26 world-class artists, including Japan's digital art group teamLab. Visitors can have a synesthetic experience within the projected artwork spaces, deeply immersing themselves and becoming part of the artwork.

Since its opening in 2020, Superblue has become a key tourist attraction in Miami, drawing 500,000 visitors annually despite the COVID-19 pandemic, and is planning expansions to places like New York and London. If 'Superblue Korea' is established in Incheon, it will be the first in Asia.
Superblue Korea is being considered for the Golden Harbor site in District 9 of Songdo International City, an economic free zone. Since Terme, Europe's largest spa complex, is also planned to be built in Golden Harbor, the city expects this to boost Incheon's leap as a global tourist city.
Mayor Yoo said, "If the world-class museum Superblue is attracted to Incheon, the gateway city of Korea, it will become an excellent tourist resource that encourages transit tourists using the airport and port to stay longer in Incheon."
