Expanding Social Contribution Initiatives
Supporting Dreams Through Diverse Programs and Partnerships
Porsche Korea announced on January 23 that it will continue a variety of social contribution activities through its corporate social responsibility campaign, "Porsche Do Dream."
Since launching "Porsche Do Dream" in 2017, Porsche Korea has donated a total of 9.44 billion won, supporting the dreams of 34,966 individuals, 134 organizations, and 35 schools. This year, the company will increase its donations to a total of 1.8 billion won, expanding existing programs and introducing new projects.
In partnership with ChildFund Korea, the "Porsche Turbo for Dream - Ballet" program will provide global education and training opportunities for talented ballet students. The "Dream Up" program will support talented children in the arts and help underprivileged youth obtain heavy equipment operator licenses. The "Dream Playground" initiative, which builds school gymnasiums, will now include upcycling environmental education to promote the value of sustainability.
As part of the "Future Heritage" project, which supports the activities of the National Heritage Center and holders of national intangible cultural assets, a special exhibition of traditional crafts will be newly launched. Continuing from last year, Porsche Korea will also run the "Porsche Frontier" program in partnership with the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture, holding a fine arts awards ceremony and providing year-round support for startup ventures.
The company will also expand its social contribution activities in the environmental sector, aiming to create a sustainable ecosystem. The "Believe in Dream - Park" initiative, in collaboration with the Seoul Green Trust, will be expanded to further conserve biodiversity, and community engagement will be strengthened through citizen-participation programs such as BioBlitz. The urban beekeeping project will continue to receive support.
The "Dream Circle" program, which creates eco-friendly ecological learning spaces in schools, will also continue. This year, customized solar panels will be installed based on each school's characteristics, creating an educational environment where students can experience resource circulation and sustainability firsthand.
Matthias Bause, CEO of Porsche Korea, stated, "'Porsche Do Dream' has become a symbolic corporate social responsibility campaign representing Porsche Korea," adding, "We will continue to implement sincere programs so that more people can discover their potential and achieve their dreams and goals."
