Monthly 5,900 KRW Subscription Program Begins on the 24th
Samsung Electronics will conduct pre-sales of its AI smartphone 'Galaxy S25' series from the 24th until the 3rd of next month. The Galaxy S25 series consists of three models: the standard, Ultra, and Plus, and will be officially released in Korea on the 7th of next month.
Pre-sales will take place at Samsung Stores nationwide, Samsung.com, and mobile carrier stores. At midnight on the 24th, special benefits will be available through live commerce on Samsung.com, Coupang, Naver, 11st, Gmarket, CJ OnStyle, and others. Customers who pre-purchase can receive and activate their products starting from the 4th of next month.
Samsung Electronics offers a benefit to pre-purchase customers by upgrading the storage capacity from the 256GB model to the 512GB model, doubling the storage. Customers who purchase the Ultra 512GB model can pay an additional 143,000 KRW to receive the 1TB model (based on 12GB memory). This is about 50% of the price difference of 286,000 KRW between the 512GB and 1TB models. Additionally, a 150,000 KRW discount coupon for the 'Galaxy Watch7' usable on the Samsung.com app will be provided.
Furthermore, various content subscription benefits are supported, including ▲YouTube Premium 3-month trial ▲Willa 3-month subscription and an additional 3-month 50% discount coupon ▲MoaJin 3-month subscription, among others.
The new mobile subscription program 'New Galaxy AI Subscription Club' will also start on the 24th. In addition to nationwide Samsung Stores and Samsung.com, customers can join when purchasing the Galaxy S25 series unlocked models at offline stores. For a monthly fee of 5,900 KRW, the program offers benefits such as ▲up to 50% residual value compensation upon device return ▲'Samsung Care Plus Smartphone Damage+' service ▲discounts on mobile accessories.
Meanwhile, the price of the Galaxy S25 standard model starts at 1,155,000 KRW, the Plus model starts at 1,353,000 KRW, and the Ultra starts at 1,698,400 KRW. Samsung Electronics stated, "While introducing the Galaxy S25 with more advanced AI and the strongest performance ever, we have priced all models the same as the previous Galaxy S24 series."
