Rep. Moon Geumju Successfully Concludes 'On-the-Go Legislative Briefing'

First Achievements Explained in Goheung, Boseong, Jangheung, and Gangjin
Resolution Adopted: "Impeach Yoon to Build a New Republic of Korea"

Rep. Moon Geumju Successfully Concludes 'On-the-Go Legislative Briefing' Democratic Party of Korea lawmaker Moon Geumju successfully held a "Visiting Legislative Report Meeting" over two days from the 20th to the 21st in Goheung, Boseong, Jangheung, and Gangjin, attended by about 1,500 local residents. Moon Geumju, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea (representing Goheung, Boseong, Jangheung, and Gangjin in South Jeolla Province), successfully held a "Visiting Parliamentary Report Meeting" on the 20th and 21st, where he reported on the legislative achievements and current political issues in the first year of the 22nd National Assembly to over 1,500 local residents.


Moon began the report meetings on the 20th in Goheung-gun and Boseong-gun, and continued on the 21st in Jangheung-gun and Gangjin-gun, holding a total of four sessions for local residents.


During the meetings, Moon explained his legislative activities and achievements in the National Assembly audit aimed at ensuring stable livelihoods for farmers and fishermen and creating a sustainable agricultural environment. He also discussed the status of securing key national and special grants to improve the quality of life for local residents.


Park Ansuk (53), a resident who attended the report meeting, commented positively, saying, "The report was comprehensive, and it was great to share opinions on local issues together."


After the report meeting, Moon held a resolution rally, vowing to impeach Yoon Sukyeol, the ringleader of the rebellion who destroyed constitutional order and violated citizens' basic rights through an unprecedented martial law, in order to create a new Republic of Korea where justice and the rule of law are alive and well.


On the 22nd, Moon expressed his gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank the residents who took the time to attend the parliamentary report meetings despite the biting cold," and emphasized, "Based on the valuable feedback I received at the meetings, I will do my utmost in the new year to help build a new Republic of Korea."
