Gwangju Dongbu Fire Station announced on the 22nd that it held an exhibition of award-winning works from last year's Children's Fire Safety Poster Contest.
The exhibition, which runs until the 23rd on the 9th floor of NC Wave Chungjang Branch in Dong-gu, Gwangju, aims to deliver a message of fire prevention to citizens through works that children have created by expressing their perspectives on fire in creative ways. A total of 10 award-winning pieces selected from the contest are on display.
In particular, the exhibition is significant in that children express their awareness of fire through drawings and share them with the public, allowing all generations to once again recognize the importance of fire prevention.
Moon Heejun, head of Dongbu Fire Station, stated, "Through this exhibition, I hope citizens will reflect on the importance of fire prevention and that the valuable messages conveyed by children will evoke empathy and awareness among many people."
