This visit was conducted as part of efforts to emphasize the importance of vocational rehabilitation training programs for the disabled and to create an environment where disabled individuals can achieve stable independence.

During the visit, a celebration was held to commemorate Seum’s 5th anniversary and its achievements so far.

Currently, the workshop employs 10 disabled workers and 4 staff members who produce jumbo roll toilet paper and subcontracted products.

Kim Su-yeon, the director of Seum, said, “We are truly grateful that you visited the facility despite your busy administrative duties,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to provide good jobs so that disabled individuals can achieve stable independence.”

Mayor Baek Young-hyun stated, “Providing work opportunities to disabled individuals who have the willingness to work is very important,” and emphasized, “We will continuously develop welfare policies that reflect the diverse needs of the disabled to create a city where both disabled and non-disabled people can live happily together.”
