KEPCO Yeongyang Branch (Branch Manager Lee Kyung-mok) and the Power Union Yeongyang Chapter (Chapter President Kim Jae-dong) visited the Gyeongbuk Provincial Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled Yeongyang Branch and delivered 50 holiday gift sets for home-based disabled households.
Branch Manager Lee Kyung-mok said, “Although it is a small token, we prepared it with the hope that it will provide some support to home-based disabled households,” and added, “I hope everyone has a warm and happy Lunar New Year holiday.”
Branch Director Lee Hee-ja said, “We deeply appreciate your visits and support to the Welfare Center for the Disabled every holiday,” and stated, “We will do our best to repay your interest and support and to promote the welfare of disabled people in the community.”
Since 2016, KEPCO Yeongyang Branch has been continuously engaged in volunteer activities by visiting home-based disabled households and delivering side dishes and daily necessities. In addition, to help vulnerable disabled households, they practice a culture of sharing in the community by providing various sponsored goods through ongoing social contribution activities.
