Seunghwa Lee, Sancheong County Governor, Encourages Soldiers at Reserve Forces Regional Unit Visit During Lunar New Year Holiday

Strengthening Bonds and Cooperation Between the Military and the Local Community

Lee Seunghwa, the governor of Sancheong County in Gyeongnam, visited the Sancheong Reserve Forces local unit to encourage the soldiers ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.

According to Sancheong County on the 22nd, this visit was arranged to boost the morale of the soldiers who dedicate themselves to local defense and resident safety, and to express gratitude for their faithful performance of duties even during the holiday period.

During the visit, Governor Lee held a meeting with the soldiers and presented Sancheong Saniro gift certificates as tokens of encouragement.

Sancheong County strengthens the bond and cooperation between the military and the local community through annual holiday visits to military units.

A representative of the Sancheong Reserve Forces local unit stated, “We will carry out our duties more faithfully to repay the interest and support of Sancheong County and the trust of local residents.”

Governor Lee said, “Thanks to the soldiers who work hard for the safety of the nation and the region, residents can spend a peaceful holiday,” adding, “We will continue to cooperate and support to ensure a warm holiday atmosphere.”
