LH Appoints 345 New Employees... Accelerating Housing Supply in the Seoul Metropolitan Area

Field-Centered Assignments Completed

Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 22nd that it recently appointed 345 new employees.

The new employees consist of 311 at grade 5 and 34 at grade 6. They started working as recruitment-type interns in September last year and completed about three months of on-site training.

They were assigned nationwide to field-centered roles such as purchasing newly built rental housing, constructing public housing, developing the 3rd New Town and Yongin Semiconductor Industrial Complex, and supporting victims of jeonse fraud. Purchased rental housing refers to public rental housing where LH buys existing houses and rents them out at affordable prices.

At the appointment ceremony, LH President Lee Han-jun said, "Please deeply engrave in your heart that the people are the owners," and added, "With the hiring of new employees, we expect to ease the increased workload caused by the expansion of policy volumes such as the increase in housing supply in the metropolitan area and the full-scale development of the 3rd New Town, and to bring new vitality to the organization."
