Sharing Warmth by Delivering Consolation Funds to Welfare Facilities
Mokpo Coast Guard (Chief Kwon Oseong) practiced sharing love with neighbors by visiting local social welfare facilities and educational institutions to deliver consolation gifts in celebration of the Lunar New Year.
On the 21st, Mokpo Coast Guard visited Dongmin Orphanage, a social welfare facility, to deliver consolation funds, and then donated 38 bags of rice (a total of 380kg) to the Yeonsandong Administrative Welfare Center, sharing warmth with neighbors in the community.
In addition, they practiced warm sharing by delivering consolation funds to two social welfare facilities, including Somang Welfare Center for the Disabled, and to underprivileged students attending Mokpo Girls' Commercial High School.
Every year, Mokpo Coast Guard joins in sharing love with neighbors by preparing heartfelt donations from staff and delivering consolation gifts, working together with the local community to support those in need.
A Mokpo Coast Guard official said, "We are grateful to be able to practice love for our neighbors and share warmth ahead of the Lunar New Year," adding, "We will continue to pay close attention to our neighbors and practice sharing in the future."
