Ghost Studio announced on the 21st that it has confirmed the production of season 2 of the Netflix series 'Sanyanggaedeul' (Hounds).
Season 2 of the Netflix series 'Sanyanggaedeul' depicts the story of Geonwoo and Woojin, who took down a ruthless illegal loan shark gang, delivering another thrilling straight hook against a global illegal boxing league.
With Ghost Studio, known for planning and producing well-made works such as Netflix's 'My Name' and Disney Plus's 'Sarangi-ra Malhaeyo' (Say I Love You), taking charge of production, expectations for 'Sanyanggaedeul' season 2 are rising.
Actors Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi will appear again following season 1. Woo Do-hwan plays Geonwoo, a young man dreaming of becoming a boxing champion, who risks his life in battles against gangs running illegal gambling through boxing worldwide. Lee Sang-yi portrays Woojin, Geonwoo’s reliable ally and a boxer armed with Marine Corps spirit, promising to showcase fiery and cheerful action chemistry alongside Woo Do-hwan. Jung Ji-hoon takes on his first villain role as Baekjeong, a global villain who draws Geonwoo and Woojin into the illegal boxing league.
Director Kim Joo-hwan, who produced 'Midnight Runners' and 'The Divine Fury,' returns to the helm for season 2 following season 1.
