Director Hong Sangsoo (64) and actress Kim Minhee (42), who are maintaining an extramarital relationship, are reported to be expecting a child, while claims have emerged that Director Hong did not attend his only daughter's wedding.

On the 20th, the YouTube channel 'Entertainment President Lee Jin-ho' uploaded a video titled 'After Kim Minhee's Pregnancy, Why Did Hong Sangsoo Give That Amount as Wedding Gift to His Daughter?' In the video, YouTuber Lee Jin-ho claimed that Director Hong Sangsoo did not attend his daughter's wedding.

Lee Jin-ho said, "Director Hong was said to have cherished his daughter very much. However, his only daughter got married 2 to 3 years ago, and shockingly, Director Hong did not attend her wedding." He added, "Not only did he not attend, but Director Hong also did not give a wedding gift. An acquaintance from the wife's side who witnessed this said, 'Isn't Hong Sangsoo going too far?' but the wife calmly said, 'He is always like that,' without showing any change in expression."

Lee Jin-ho also addressed the rumor that "Director Hong Sangsoo inherited 120 billion won," calling it "a clear fake news." He explained, "Director Hong is perceived as a wealthy person by those around him. This was due to a rumor about Director Hong's mother leaving a 120 billion won inheritance on a broadcast." He continued, "Upon checking, this 120 billion won inheritance rumor itself was a typical fake news."

He said, "Director Hong is the youngest of three siblings. The youngest inherited 120 billion won? Then how much did the older brother and sister inherit? It doesn't make sense from the start." He added that although it is true that Director Hong grew up in a wealthy family, the story about inheriting 120 billion won is not true. "If he had inherited 120 billion won, the tax industry would have known first due to the huge taxes involved," he said.

He also mentioned Kim Minhee's more modest lifestyle. He said, "In 2015, Kim Minhee was living in a villa in Hannam-dong worth over 10 billion won at current market prices. However, after the affair with Director Hong began, she moved to Hanam."
