Before the arrest warrant was issued, Choi Jun-yong shouted "Dismiss the warrant" together with supporters gathered at the scene. He also disparaged the police, saying, "All kinds of cops are flying in." Additionally, he criticized the court, saying, "Just close your eyes and dismiss it. Why are they doing this? Has the Western District Court completely turned left?"

Afterwards, he stood in front of the camera with Noh Hyun-hee. Noh Hyun-hee, who showed her face to viewers, said, "I was here all day since noon, went somewhere briefly, and came back. My throat is completely hoarse." Choi Jun-yong introduced Noh Hyun-hee as "a friend who has been famous as part of the Taegeukgi Corps since the impeachment of President Park Geun-hye," and Noh Hyun-hee praised Choi Jun-yong as "a truly courageous patriot." She continued, "The people in their 20s and 30s will raise our country. I see a very bright light," and appealed, "We will stay here all night today. Please pray with us."

Earlier, Choi Jun-yong publicly supported President Yoon and participated in rallies opposing impeachment. On the 15th, during a live broadcast, he mentioned the news of President Yoon's arrest and defended him, saying, "What crime did the president commit?" His wife, Han, who appeared with him, also shed tears, saying, "I am so angry."

Meanwhile, in the early hours of the 19th, after the arrest warrant for President Yoon was issued, his supporters stormed the Western District Court and caused a disturbance. The police urgently deployed 1,400 personnel to suppress the situation, but it was reported that 41 citizens and protesters and 42 police officers were injured. The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency explained in a press release on the 20th, "Among the 90 people arrested in flagrante delicto, the age range varied from teenagers to people in their 70s, with those in their 20s and 30s accounting for 51% (46 people), making up more than half." A police official stated, "We plan to thoroughly analyze mobile phones, evidence materials, YouTube videos, etc., to identify illegal actors and those who instigated or aided illegal acts, and punish them strictly."
