5% Cashback Offered for Payments Made with Gapyeong GP Pay Starting from the 25th

Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province (Governor Seo Tae-won) announced on the 20th that it will provide Gapyeong GP Pay consumption support funds, a local currency, starting from the 25th in celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday. The Lunar New Year consumption support event to revitalize the local economy will continue until the related budget is exhausted.

This event operates by giving a 5% cashback on the payment amount when paying with Gapyeong GP Pay at local currency affiliated stores. Each person can receive up to 10,000 KRW, and the cashback provided will be prioritized for deduction when making payments with the local currency thereafter.

A Gapyeong-gun official stated, “We hope this event will promote the use of local currency and allow both consumers and small business owners to have a warm holiday,” adding, “We will continue to prepare various support measures to restore the local economy and public livelihood.”
